We have both Midland and Vaughn's bermuda grass in small squares. Our hay is not cut on a set rotation, because we believe precision in quality is much more important than a set time period and this enforces our belief of quality over quantity. The weather is not the same at any set interval so we cut our hay when we see it best fit to provide the highest quality hay possible. Our Hay is bundled by a bale baron to make it easier to handle, load, and unload. The bundles are 21 bale each, all wrapped with 4 strands of 440lb knot strength twine. Our top quality hay is like the angus grade of hay. Not all of our hay meets this category. Although we strive for the best quality, there are things beyond our control and which often provides some less than perfect hay for less than full price.
We now have a big square baler and have 3X8 big squares of both bermuda and crabgrass hay. We bale this in limited quantities and often we don't bale many more then we have requested. If you're looking for some big squares try to contact us during the hay season and we will make sure we have enough for you.
We keep mainly to square bales, but we do have some rounds every year. Usually in very limited quantities, we bale some bermuda and some crabgrass round bales so be sure to contact us early if you'd like to request some round bales.
