We have both Midland and Vaughn's bermuda grass in small squares. Our hay is not cut on a set rotation, because we believe precision is much more important than a set time period and this enforces our belief of quality over quantity. The weather is not the same at any set interval so we cut our hay when we see it best fit to provide the highest quality hay possible. Our Hay is bundled by a bale baron to make it easier to handle, load, and unload. The bundles are 21 bale each, all wrapped with 4 strands of 440lb knot strength twine. To learn more about this machine, check out our review of the Bale Baron. Our top quality hay is like the angus grade of hay. Not all of our hay meets this category. Although we strive for the best quality, there are things beyond our control and which often provides some less than perfect hay for less than full price. Along with our inventory of hay, we bale both rice straw and wheat straw. We try to keep both long stem and short stemmed straw in stock, just let us know what you need and we will try to help you out.
Our hay is fully sprayed twice before the first cutting and spot sprayed between cuttings where needed to ensure clean and pure bermuda. We spend over $300,000 in fertilize every year so that our product grows strong and provides a healthy meal for your animals.
